Tour 2010
2010 - Revised June 18.
WILL SCOTT
New-York-based singer and guitarist, Will Scott blends soulful Americana and hill country blues, delivered with a voice that The New York Press describes as “thick as blood.” Scott’s live performances are known as some of the best in the industry (Twisted South Magazine). Americana UK calls him “one of the most impressive new acts of his kind to come along in quite some time.” His most recent release, Gnawbone, continues to receive praise in the US and Europe and is a nominee for “Best Blues Album” at the Independent Music Awards.
JAN BELL
Jan Bell was born in Yorkshire and, since moving to the US in her teens, has made a name for
herself as an alt. country songwriter. Her songs have been covered by Jolie Holland,
Samantha Parton (The Be Good Tanyas), and many others. Bell’s album, Songs for Love Drunk
Sinners, won the Independent Music Awards “Alt. Country Album of The Year” by popular vote
and has received critical acclaim from Village Voice, The Nashville Scene, and Americana UK.
The London Sunday Times recently proclaimed her a “latter-day Loretta Lynn".
She is also band leader of old timey country trio The Maybelles, who are based in NYC.
